As Ms. Mintz, our indefatigable Latin teacher, used to say, tempus fugit. I think this is my first posting in the Aerie, so a quick overview: After college I studied avant garde theater in Poland and Switzerland, and back in the U.S. I got an MFA in theater directing at Columbia University where I met my wife, Amy. I spent many fun years directing theater and writing plays, screenplays and a novel. In Los Angeles, around 2006, I became a volunteer crisis counselor and suicide hotline counselor, loved it, and decided to change course. After attending a public interest law school in New York, my family and I moved to Miami where I spent four and a half years at the Miami-Dade Public Defender's Office, and where I worked alongside Palmer-Trinity alums Cam Cornish and Patrick Wilson. I recently left the office to start my own practice, The Tarjan Law Firm, focusing on personal injury, civil rights and immigration law. Amy and I have a wonderful eight year old daughter, Oona, who has inherited her parents' love for theater. In my spare time I play jazz piano, and rumor has it that I play the ukulele now and then. Drop me a line, I'd love to hear from you! josh@joshtarjan.com." 1987 CLAS S AGENT Miles McGrath miles.mcgrath @ gmail.com 1988 CLAS S AGENT Elena E.
