The trees of Palmer Trinity, which number well over
1,000, are comprised of 35 plant families, 66 genera,
and 76 species. Mr. Roberts, Dr. Llinás, and students
in the Eco Club and Theory of Knowledge classes
tagged one tree from each species with a plaque.
Each plaque included the common name and the
scientific name of the tree species.
The plaques on each tree correspond with the
descriptions in the new guide The Trees of Palmer
Trinity. The guide, available under the Media and
Publications section of the School's website,
encourages users to explore the campus and learn
to identify its exceptional multitude of trees.
