We are still in Boston, and doing well, but may be relocated sometime this summer." Gil Lang dedicated the last several years of his life working abroad with several nonprofit organizations to improve the living conditions in underprivileged communities. While in the Dominican Republic, he volunteered with an organization called "Wine to Water," which is dedicated to providing clean and safe drinking water to those who need it. Recently, Gil moved back to Miami to lead his family business, The Madison Collection, in global ethical growth. To begin accomplishing this large task the company has partnered with Wine to Water to provide clean drinking water to the people of Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Then I went to Southwestern Law School and graduated with my J.D. in 2005. After passing the bar, I started managing my brother's (Nabil Moo '07) rock band in 2007 and they signed with Epitaph Records soon after. To help promote the band, I thought it would be cool for us to make a six-episode web series called "The Chronicles of ISMFOF" (the name of the band was I Set My Friends On Fire a/k/a "ISMFOF"). I really enjoyed writing those webisodes, so in 2009 I started writing feature screenplays. Soon after, in 2010, I started my law practice, which still exists today. I mainly focus on music and film law. In 2015, after several years of writing, I decided that I wanted to try and write and produce my own feature film. My wife was horrified, because she's public school teacher and had no interest in the entertainment business whatsoever. She thought screenwriting was just a hobby for me. I made a deal with her that I was going to write a small script I could produce myself and, if she didn't like it, I wouldn't move forward. So, I wrote a script called "The Cabin" (which would become "The Midnight Man") in just eight days. Lucky for me, she liked the script and gave her blessing for me to move forward. (As any married man knows, no business will succeed unless the wife is on board). That was in August 2015. In January 2016, I was able to secure a $100K investment from one of my law clients.
