Spring Season February – May BASEBALL Palmer Trinity School offers two levels of high school baseball: Varsity Baseball, the top level of competition for students in grades 9 – 12 with a cut policy for competition and safety reasons; and Junior Varsity Baseball, the second level of competition for students in grades 9 – 11. A high school student-athlete with no experience playing baseball can be very difficult to place on a team for safety reasons. A high school baseball team may have as little as 12 players on the roster or as many as 20 on the roster. Baseball is one of the more well-known sports and is one of the leading sports played in Miami next to soccer. Parents are responsible for supplying gloves, cleats, baseball pants (gray), and safety cups. The Athletic Department will provide home and away game uniforms and team hats. L ACROSSE Boys Lacrosse participation and popularity has grown over the past five years in South Florida. High school students in grades 9 – 12 are encouraged to participate. Lacrosse will offer 19
