FOR HIGH SCHOOL S ENIORS all
over the world, graduation looked a lot
different this year. Nevertheless, on
Saturday, June 20, Falcon pride and
spirit filled the air as we celebrated our
101 graduating seniors.
To ensure that our students and their
families were able to celebrate this
important milestone in a safe and
healthy way, we opted for several
smaller ceremonies instead of one,
larger ceremony for the entire class.
Between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m., the
PTS Gymnasium hosted five different
ceremonies that honored no more
than 23 students in each. Every senior
was allowed to invite just their parents
and siblings, and the whole day was
streamed online for extended family
members and friends who were unable
to attend. Students wore masks as
they walked across the stage to get
their diplomas, and social distancing
was enforced the entire time.
While their last few months of high
school were anything but normal, these
seniors—who will matriculate into top
colleges and universities like Purdue,
Brown, Duke, Georgetown, Regent's
University in England and even Parsons
School of Design in Paris, France in fall
2020—have proven that they can, and
will, accomplish anything.
We are so proud of our Class of 2020
graduates, and we look forward to
seeing them back on campus as
esteemed PTS Alumni. You did it!
Congratulations
