2016 CLAS S AGENTS Emily Kalbac Carolina Mantilla Emma Schwartz writes, "I spent last summer at Sephora America's headquarters in San Francisco. As an intern within the Omnichannel Innovation department, I assisted with the creation and execution of customer experiences for every client that walks in a store or visits the Sephora website. From developing new makeover services to piloting digital systems for store employees, I was able to directly impact my team' s future strategy and gain mentors that are some of the best strategists within the cosmetics industry." Emily Kalbac and Austin Cannon, PTS high school sweethearts, are proud to announce their engagement. Carolina Maller writes "I have just been hired as a research associate at the Miller School of Medicine for this coming summer to work on a project entitled "Risk and Resiliency in the Early Childhood Community in Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic." The goals of the project are to focus on the consequences on the psychosocial wellbeing of people in at-risk communities during the COVID-19 pandemic by obtaining input on community needs as the pandemic evolves and developing and disseminating an Online Toolkit & Resource Hub to address needs of parents and teachers of young children in Miami-Dade County." Alyssa Levy will be attending medical school in the fall at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Catherine Dos Santos Alves is a recent graduate of the University of Florida's Class of 2020. At UF she was involved with Alpha Phi Omega Coed Community Service Fraternity, Bridges Minority Outreach Program, and the UF Hispanic Student Association, UF Hispanic Heritage Month, and served as Executive Director of Hispanic-Latinx Student Assembly. 2017 CLAS S AGENT N EEDED Curt Lary was featured on PBS, on the TV show "Inventure Prize," where he was invited to pitch an automated overhead food delivery system for restaurants that he developed as a student at Georgia Tech. 2018 CLAS S AGENT Alan Macaulay Elizabeth Vallejo Samantha Yanes 2019 CLAS S AGENTS John-Paul Arrien Carolina Socorro John Malloy, who was valedictorian of the PTS Class of 2019, moved to Boston, MA to go to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and study Mechanical Engineering. He was selected as a Physics teaching assistant and accepted a prestigious summer internship in Tel Aviv, Israel. Outside of the classroom, he plays wide receiver on the MIT football team and joined MIT's chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE) fraternity, where he has made many new friends.
