We met in our hometown of Miami, shortly after I graduated from Palmer Trinity School in 2013. We dated throughout college and afterwards and got engaged in Aspen after seven years, right before the pandemic started. After a year of lockdowns, panic and vaccinations (finally), we had our dream wedding at Casa de Campo, in the Dominican Republic. We took the proper precautions, like testing beforehand and throughout the weekend, and ensured all events were held outdoors. Amongst my bridesmaids were Danielle Rothfeldt '13, Katherine Brockway '13, Tatiana Campuzano '13 and Darcy Velasquez '13. Amongst the groomsmen were Jose Viyella '17, Andres Valverde '12, Fernando Castillo '12 and Cameron McDonough '11." She is a recent Cornell University graduate and is excited to share her vision of Miami and society. In her paintings, which depict everything from iconic celebratory champagne glasses to the unfortunate hangover the next morning, she incorporates the colorful imagery of Miami nightlife using bright colors on a large scale canvas. The paintings seek to entice its audience to engage in our Miami nights. She is also fascinated by our social interactions with each other and social media, and uses her art to explore how we change our faces to accommodate different social settings. With the pandemic looming, this year's gathering took place outside and involved a smaller number of parents. These packages were made up of snacks, Alumni memorabilia and notes from current PTS students and faculty, and were sent to Class of 2020 graduates during their freshman year of college to remind them that we're always thinking about them. Thank you to all of the parents who contributed to this wonderful tradition! S U MME R 2 0 2 1 51
