Ashley Ramkishun '11 writes, "I am currently working at the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office as a prosecutor. I've been with the office since August 2019. While the job itself is very demanding, I've enjoyed the opportunity to lead and mentor fellow attorneys in my current role as a training attorney. The office promoted me recently! Starting next month, I will be transitioning into my new role as Assistant Chief of County Court." '12 Class Agents Emily Eckblom Andres Valverde Kris Rest Ximena Bobadilla '12 writes, "I was admitted to grad school and will be attending the full time MBA program at USC Marshall School of Business, joining the class of 2023. I aim to pivot from real estate to consulting to break into the entertainment industry. Historically, MBA programs have lacked diversity and I am excited to be representing the Latinx community in graduate school." Giancarlo Falconi '12 writes, "Cristy and I met in the most embarrassing way, but I'm so glad we both chose to swipe right on Tinder! We matched in the early hours of October 22, 2019, and were so shocked and amazed by one another's photos, background and culture that we couldn't resist meeting up in person the next day. Yes, we went out the very next day—on October 23—at a gas station: El Carajo Spanish Restaurant on US1. We enjoyed that day so much that we continued seeing each other, meeting one another's families and going on some very fun dates. Long story short, we ended up falling in love only nine days after. I proposed to her a year from the day we met, in Newport Rhode Island, a town I used to visit to sail competitively during my high school years at Palmer Trinity School. Fast forward to today, and we have bought a lot, are building a house from the ground up and are getting married in November 2021 at the Church of the Little Flower!" Chris McAlpin '12 is an attorney and litigation associate at Lawson & Weitzen, a law firm in Boston, where he handles an array of commercial, real estate and tort litigation. Chris often represents a national educational tour company in litigation brought across various U.S. jurisdictions and courts. Additionally, Chris represents real estate developers and their related entities in a plethora of zoning, construction and real estate-related disputes. Chris is a hardworking, results-driven attorney who relies on his sharp legal skills to serve clients through all aspects of litigation. He is adept in litigation strategies and actively counsels his clients to maximize favorable results. Chris often praises his high school alma mater for instilling the essential critical-thinking skills that he utilizes everyday in his practice of the law. Sean Ramras '12 writes, "I just graduated from medical school at St. George's University. I graduated summa cum laude and as a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society. I will begin residency in general surgery at Waterbury Hospital, in Connecticut, in July 2021."
