She also has a background in advertising and marketing. Ciorobea is committed to serving the community. In addition to her recent appointment to the PTS board of trustees, she was also a past president and founding member of the school's alumni association. She serves as trusteeship chair of the executive board for St. Thomas Episcopal Parish School; is on the board of trustees for Kieve Wavus Education, a nonprofit summer camp and year-round educational organization in Maine; and has served as a volunteer to interview applicants for Duke University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. She and her husband and two sons live in South Miami. DA NIEL DI A Z L E Y VA , E S Q. is managing partner and co-founder of the boutique law practice Diaz Leyva Group where he supports clients in the areas of real estate and lending. He also serves as outside general counsel advising clients on legal matters across their daily business affairs. In addition to the PTS board of trustees, Diaz Leyva also serves on the board of the Palmer Trinity Alumni Association and is the recipient of a Head of School Alumni Award for his distinguished service to the community. Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees of Miami Dade College and helped establish and served as the executive director of the US chapter of the Consejo Empresarial de América Latina (CEAL), an organization that promotes economic development throughout Latin America. He has also served on the board of directors of Anthem Bank & Trust, Florida Health Choices, CHARLEE Homes for Children, Banyan Health Systems, Latin Builders Association, Hispanic Business Initiative Fund, and the University of Miami Institute for Cuban and Cuban American Studies. Diaz Leyva holds a law degree from the St. Thomas University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Miami. He lives between Colorado and Florida with his wife Cristina and their two children. R ICH A R D A L L EN GR IL L O is executive vice president, general counsel and owner of Miami Regional University (MRU) in Miami Springs. Prior to MRU, he was an employment litigation and appeals attorney at the Broward County Attorney's Office and served on the canvassing board on election laws and the human rights board. Grillo also served as an officer in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve for more than 15 years. His community involvement includes the Peter T. Fay American Inns of Court, Cub Scouts leadership and hosting charitable fundraising events through MRU. Grillo earned his law degree at St. Thomas University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta. Grillo is a resident of Palmetto Bay with his wife Lara, a fellow PTS alum, and their three young children. DOUGL A S RO T HFEL D T is a private wealth management advisor at Goldman Sachs where he counsels entrepreneurs, families, foundations and private companies. He serves on Palmer Trinity School's Alumni Board and as chairman of the board of the Boulevard Scholarship Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit investment fund. A graduate of the Southern Methodist University (SMU) Edwin L. Cox School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in finance, all gains from the nonprofit's investing are donated back to the SMU Cox School of Business BBA Scholars Program to help fund annual BBA scholarships awarded to incoming freshman business students. During his time at SMU, Rothfeldt attended an honors analyst program co-managing the Ann Rife Cox Endowment. Additionally, he completed the International Business Program at Fundação Getulio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. 5
