JE A N-PIER R E ( J.P.) GIL BER T ' 0 7 Alumnus Jean-Pierre (J.P.) Gilbert spoke at the Palmer Trinity School convocation honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights Movement. He shared his experiences as an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the Southern District of Florida with our entire student body. R EBE C C A D A HD A H ' 0 8 Rebecca Dahdah came to campus to speak with Palmer Trinity School students in the SWENext (Girls in Stem) club as part of the "Girl Powered – Redefining the Face of STEM" worldwide event. Rebecca is now a Civil/Wastewater Engineer with 8 years of professional experience. Rebecca obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University (FIU). While at FIU, she held several executive board positions in professional organizations, including the Director of Communication of the Society of Women's Engineers and the President of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) for 3 years. EWB was a key highlight and turning point in her development. She worked on funding, designing, and building a drinking water supply project for the Maleku community in Costa Rica. Feeling the desire to learn more about water policy, governance, and contextualize water issues globally, Rebecca continued her education by completing her master's degree in Integrated Water Resource Management at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Throughout her career, Rebecca has been both a design engineer and project manager for several major projects with Federal and State mandates and Miami-Dade County's Water and Sewer Department (MDWASD). Her work has included expansions and upgrades to Miami's water and wastewater treatment plants and over 100 sewer pump stations and associated pipelines. LY NL E Y ( WA L K ER ) C IOR OBE A ' 9 6 Lynley (Walker) Ciorobea shared an engaging presentation with Palmer Trinity School faculty and staff on Real Estate in Miami. S TA C IE L A R C O - C O OPER ' 9 6 Palmer Trinity School parent and alumna, Stacie Larco-Cooper spoke to the whole school at the French Culture and Heritage Chapel on March 16, 2023. She shared about Haiti and its contributions to Latin America. D OU G R O T HF EL D T ' 10 Doug Rothfeldt, a Private Wealth Advisor, spoke to Palmer Trinity School faculty and staff about personal investment.
