P R E T T Y A S A P I C T U R E The Admissions Office, located in the Student Life Building, which was completed in 2021, recently acquired two new custom-made paintings: watercolors of campus. The art, commissioned by former staff member Lucia de Sola, was created by artist Diane Lary. Lary, parent of alums C UR T IS ' 1 7 and BR I T T NE Y ' 19 L A RY, has earned numerous awards for her watercolor paintings and is an active member of the Miami Watercolor Society. J A C K S O N G R A Y ' 2 4 In February, Jackson performed in Carnegie Hall in New York. Jackson was accepted into the Honors Performance Series chorus, through the guidance of Performing Arts/ Chorus teacher, Mr. Tim Lester. The Honors Performance Series assembles rising young musicians to perform under renowned conductors at several of the world's most celebrated concert halls. "The experience connected to my past when I was very involved in music. At the event, we sang seven classical choral arrangements including Ave Verum Corpus. Before the concert, Mr. Lester emphasized the importance of being very prepared. With his assistance, I was one of the strongest leaders in my section." I N T R O D U C I N G F A L C O N F L A S H This academic year, we welcomed new Media, Journalism, and Broadcast classes, led by Mrs. Alexa Sueiras and assisted in the second semester by Ms. Brooke LeMaire. Mrs. Sueiras initiated PTTV, a production created by students in the Broadcast class. Falcon Flash, PTTV's morning show, is pre-recorded each week with news and interviews to be shared on Monday mornings during advisory. Scan here to view episodes of Falcon Flash A G R E E N A P P L E S C H O O L Palmer Trinity School earned the Green Apple designation from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, for the school's commitment to conserve and protect Florida's natural resources. The Florida Green School Designation Program designates and recognizes K-12 schools that make a voluntary commitment to environmental stewardship. J A H M I R E V E R E T T ' 2 3 Jahmir was awarded the first annual Colin Powell Scholarship for the Episcopal Church of Southeast Florida. Jahmir was recognized for his strong academic record, athletic leadership as captain of both the football and basketball teams, selfless service within his community, and active involvement with the Black Student Union.
