WHEN HENRY STARK WAS JUST A SIXTH GRADER AND HE WALKED AROUND THE GYMNASIUM, HE NEVER IMAGINED THAT HIS NAME WOULD GO UP IN THE RAFTERS OR ON THE RECORD BOARDS. In fact, when Stark joined the Cross Country team in 6 th grade and the Track & Field team in 7 th grade, he was just merely happy to be a part of the team. His older brother George was a very talented athlete within these sports and Henry joined to follow in his footsteps as he looked up to George. The love for the sport, however, was not there. When Stark first arrived on campus in the Fall of 2017, it was George's name up on the record boards, holding the PTS Physical Education best 1600m and 800m times. Through the years, the Stark brothers enjoyed running together and the camaraderie that came with it, even if George was miles ahead of Henry, both literally and figuratively. During Stark's sophomore year is when it all changed. "I got to the level in which I could run alongside him. It gave me the boost of confidence knowing my brother had my back and I had his as we continued to push each other on the track," Stark recalls. Once I adapted to the fact that I would just have to put my head down and work, I developed an all or nothing mentality that drove me to new heights." 9
