Students, faculty, staff, and parents find a true sense of belonging and support that goes beyond the ordinary. In moments of triumph and times of challenge, achievements are celebrated, and comfort is readily extended, nurturing enduring friendships that span lifetimes. Central to this ethos is The Palmer Trinity Parent Association (PTPA), a cornerstone of our community. With a mission to cultivate connections and foster family engagement, the PTPA embodies the partnership between parents and the school. Volunteers, including parents, grandparents, alumni, and trustees, play pivotal roles in enriching our community through volunteer work. Recognizing the importance of this partnership, remarkable achievements are made through the collaboration of the school and parents, ultimately benefiting our children. Comprising over 16 diverse committees, the PTPA offers many avenues for community involvement, including Book Club, Community Service, Dads Club, Uniform Recycle Program, Holiday Party, Social Committee, Team Parents, and Parent Education, just to name a few. All parents and guardians are automatically members, ensuring inclusivity and active participation. With a vibrant calendar boasting events and programs, the PTPA provides plenty of opportunities for parents to engage, contribute, and strengthen our school community. At Palmer Trinity, we champion initiatives that cultivate connections and enrich experiences. Our parent mentors extend welcome new families, while Grade Coordinators foster camaraderie through grade-specific gatherings and information sharing. Among our cherished traditions, the International Festival shines brightly, uniting students, parents, and friends in celebration of global diversity and friendship. Another beloved and new tradition, Lessons and Carols with Christmas Tree Lighting (see page 41), captivates families with its festive spirit and magical ambiance. From the Christmas chapel service to the enchanting tree lighting ceremony, this event exemplifies the warmth and joy of our community, drawing families together in shared celebration. These cherished events are made possible by the boundless dedication and volunteerism of our parent community. We extend heartfelt gratitude to the hundreds of parents and alumni parents whose generosity and commitment breathe life into the PTPA, nurturing a community characterized by love, inclusivity, and connection at Palmer Trinity School.
