JESUS SOCORRO
Jesus Socorro is a partner with MBAF,
an accounting and advisory services firm,
where he leads the firm's risk advisory
practice. His industry experience includes
real estate, healthcare, pharmaceuticals,
and professional sports teams.
Active in the South Florida community,
he is currently serving on the Board
of Directors of Hispanic Unity of
Florida and the Finance Committee of
Miami Children's Health System.
Jesus received an undergraduate degree
in accounting from Florida International
University and a Master of Business
Administration from Northwestern University.
R ACHEL M A LUEG
Rachel Malueg started her professional
career at Citibank where she attended
Commercial Credit Training. She worked
at two major banks in Chicago in their
private banking groups and owned
two mortgage banking companies.
In Chicago, she was a member of the Annual
Fund Committee for the Sacred Heart
School, which her daughters attended.
Her family moved to Miami in
2011, where she currently manages
six investment properties.
Malueg received her undergraduate degree
from University of Illinois, Urbana/
Champaign in 1989 and MBA in Finance
from Loyola University Chicago in 1996.

Marcel Navarro is a principal at MMG
Equity Partners, a privately owned full-
service real estate development company.
Prior to MMG, he served as Chief Financial
Officer of Navarro Discount Pharmacies.
Marcel is a member of the Florida
International University Foundation
Board of Directors serving in the
Investments committee. Marcel and
his family started a foundation focused
on encouraging elementary students
to develop a love of reading.
Marcel has an accounting degree from
Florida International University and an
MBA from the University of Miami.
