TODD MORROW and his family moved to Vero Beach, FL where he is the Principal of Citrus Grove Elementary School. Todd writes, "We are absolutely loving our new schools and the neighborhood we live in." 1988 CLASS AGENT Elena (Essen) Endara partyuv5@bellsouth.net MARTIN ECHAVARRIA received a bronze medal from the Independent Publisher Book Awards for his book, Enabling Collaboration: Achieving Success Through Strategic Alliances and Partnerships. 1989 CLASS AGENT Scott Shelfer scott@exactaland.com MICHELE (BAKER) BENESCH was interviewed by Les Dames d'Escoffier earlier this year, a prestigious international organization that mentors women in the culinary professions. Michele continues to run her family's company Menu Men, chairs the non-profit Slow Food Miami, and recently joined the Palmer Trinity Alumni Association Board among several community Board memberships. CLAUDE GRUBAIR recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Miami Herald's All-Dade Awards banquet for his work as a Coach and Athletic Director at Ransom Everglades School. He was recently appointed the CEO of the Miami-based Children's Bereavement Center. DARREN ZEMNICK recently became Director of Human Resources for the St. Regis Hotel in Aspen, Colorado. 1990 CLASS AGENT Peter Baumberger psb@kubickidraper.com 1991 CLASS AGENT NEEDED CARIN (ROSS) JOHNSON writes, "I recently started a role as a Business Controls Leader at Bank of America in the Enterprise Shared Services Division where I hold the officer title of Senior Vice President. In my role, I am responsible for a team that has governance and oversight for identification and remediation of complex account closure issues that present operational or regulatory risk to the bank and its clients. I have been with Bank of America for 10 years. After the passing of my mother in 2010 to a rare, but aggressive gynecologic cancer, I founded a non- profit organization in her honor called, Lydia's Legacy. The mission is to provide gynecologic cancer awareness through education and to support research through fundraising and donation. The organization has contributed $60,000 in research donations, health promotion, education, and support. Additionally, the volunteer-run organization estimates over 400 volunteer hours annually in community education and service. The organization has been recognized over the years, and a library in the Levine Cancer Institute (Charlotte, NC) is named in honor of the organization's commitment to research. In the Miami community, the organization recently conducted an education workshop at Dorothy M. Wallace C.O.P.E. Center and donated over 100 lbs. of patient support kit items to newly diagnosed patients at Doctor's Hospital. I also sit on the board of directors for the Charlotte affiliate of Susan G. Komen Foundation. On Valentine's Day of last year, my husband of 10 years, Donnie and I welcomed 2 bundles of Gil Lang '97 making water filtration clay pots with his job with Fathom Maggie (Rosas-Guyon) Relloso '93 married Dany Relloso this June Carin Ross Johnson '91 and her family
