SARAH MEDINA is entering her junior year at Wake Forest University as a member of the Varsity Soccer Team. Her sophomore year was a success, as she played in all 19 games, making 14 starts. Sarah led the team in goals and points. Her four goals came in a six-game span against William & Mary, UCLA, Miami, and UNCW and made assists against Oregon, Pitt, and Boston College. She tied for second on the team with 24 shots, 11 of them on target. Sarah's goal against William & Mary was the first of her career, while the score against Miami was her first game- winner. CAMERON COOKSON is studying Finance at the University of Florida. DANIEL DU FEU was recently named to the Northeast-10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his role on the varsity soccer team at St. Michael's College. Du Feu recorded a career-high eight saves to backstop Saint Michael's to clinch the Catholic Cup title this Fall. He leads the NE-10 in saves per game. Daniel's teammates for St. Michael's include PTS Alumni and former students CLAUDIO WINGARTZ '15, ANDRES RIVAS, and GABRIEL PINEDA. ROBY MARCONDES writes, "From the knowledge first acquired from Raul Gonzalez's film class at Palmer Trinity and in the past 2 years in college, I got the chance to be part of an amazing experience this summer where I got to intern with two different people, Mark Sayre and John Lacy, and experience both sides of film production, producing, and directing. Working 20 days on set in Seattle as a 2 nd AD on Point Defiance was a great learning experience. Alongside Mark from pre to post production, I got to understand all the steps a film has to go through to get from paper to screen." KELSEY MAGENHEIMER writes, "I'm currently a junior at Texas Christian University and just went through my White Coat Ceremony for Nursing. I will have my first rotation in the hospital this fall semester and will graduate a semester early (in December 2017) with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a minor in Spanish for the Health Professions. When I graduate, I hope to work in Labor and Delivery. I am also an active member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority at TCU and I'm serving as our Alumnae Relations Chair." SOFIA PEDROSO worked in Boston this summer for Project Have Hope, an organization that seeks to empower women in the Acholi Quarter of Uganda by providing education to both the women and their children and assisting the women to establish business opportunities to promote economic stability and sustainability. Sofia writes, "I had the opportunity to build up PHH's social media presence as well as doing some grant research. As an International Relations major, it was a great experience and I look forward to working with organizations similar to PHH in the future." MONICA REINHARD writes, "I am double majoring in Finance and Accounting and I am the treasurer of the FSU club lacrosse team."
