But I want to suggest a different picture of success. Can we stop, just for a moment, and listen? What burns in your heart? Maybe things don't have to be so difficult. Maybe it's okay to doubt. Maybe it's okay to feel vulnerable. Maybe our sensitivity is our greatest source of power." "Class of 2017, when you walk out those doors in front of us and your friends and family greet you and ask you how you're feeling, tell them that you are ecstatic, overjoyed, thrilled, or even just happy because you are done and you have accomplished incredible things and will continue to do so." "I think what we all need right now is a bit of reassurance. We shouldn't be afraid of the future. Most of the experiences we're afraid of end up being some of the best experiences of our lives, because facing our fears allows us to learn and grow, develop character and courage." "e next element we had to learn was compassion... It's a special element because compassion demands that you care for others and work to alleviate their pain. It's not about you, it's about them. We ran 5Ks for cancer research, built houses for Cambodia and Nicaragua, worked with Best Buddies and Breakthrough Miami, spread awareness through our Eco Club, shared bikes across neighborhoods, fed 14,000 children in an hour, and established international medical trips to Haiti to name a few."
