With a background in education, theater, and dance, she has breathed new life into Palmer Trinity School's dance program. With great enthusiasm, she embraced the school and found inspiration in the positive PTS community. "I am thrilled to be surrounded by such encouraging and creative administrators, teachers, parents, and most of all, such motivated students," she said. "is is the second time I have had the privilege to build a dance program from the ground up and though it is currently in its infancy, I have ambitious plans for the Palmer Trinity School Dance program and dancers. We have performed several times in this, our inaugural year, and my goal is to eventually build a dance team that would perform at school gatherings, sporting events, community events, as well as potentially participate in regional dance competitions!" e "Original Six" dancers from the Fall semester and the "Talented Ten" dancers from the Spring semester showed a dedication and love for dance that amazed Mrs. Rodriguez. Students learned Modern and Contemporary, Technique, Leaps and Tricks, Ballet, eatrical Tap and Jazz, Hip Hop and Peer Choreography. At the end of the year, the dancers had learned over 10 routines in various genres, as well as choreographed their own pieces, performed them for the class, and professionally written out their own choreography. Student Sophia Fornaris says, "I love that every girl in the class is eager to dance and expresses herself freely. I chose this class to improve my dance skills and to become an overall better dancer. I love that Mrs. Rodriguez is always eager to help me when I'm having trouble on a dance step. I really look forward to more girls joining the dance program. Dance helps me express my inner self and makes me feel free."
