O R G 30 1 7 T H A N N U A L M A R C H 18 , 2 0 17 Palmer Trinity School hosted its 17 th annual International Festival which celebrates our vibrant multicultural community and highlights an ongoing commitment to global sustainability and environmental initiatives. is year, our school hosted a wide variety of entertainers, from colorful dancers to aikido martial artists to our very own student musicians, dancers, and actors. e highlight of the festival is the booths. Food booths representing countries from every corner of the world sold signature dishes from their respective countries, making for a food lover's dream. Community organizations set up tables for students to sign up for a variety of service opportunities, while shoppers were able to browse through clothing and accessories. In the PTS gymnasium, our 5 th annual Indoor World Cup Soccer game took place. Students registered with teams representing different countries and played against each other for the World Cup title as onlookers cheered. Our Alumni Association hosted an "Alumni Village" with vintage uniforms and photos on display. e main event was the flag parade. Led by our Middle and Upper School students, the International Flag Parade wound through the booths, displaying flags from over 50 countries, and ended at the main stage where the flags were placed on display for all to view. Students proudly brandished their flags as they participated in this signature event. All money raised at the International Festival goes to support Palmer Trinity School's global education initiatives.
