However, despite this linear nature, many aspects of our lives unfold in a cyclical fashion, like the changing seasons or the ticking of a clock. As our 8 th graders "moved-up" to high school and our seniors embarked on exciting new journeys another cycle came to an end. After a year of demanding work and thrilling accomplishments as a community, the need and appreciation of summer's rejuvenation was a theme that swept the campus of Palmer Trinity School. Our Varsity Soccer teams and Varsity Girls Track team went to the first round of the State Championships, while many of our teams went onto Districts and Regional Finals. Our students won a Silver Knights Award and a Silver Knights Honorable Mention. Guests from all over the world traveled to our campus and spoke at our convocations and chapels. We were even visited by a Buddhist monk who artfully crafted a sand mandala for us. e art department displayed the work of our students during their annual art walk. In addition, the band and orchestra played under the stars at Pinecrest Gardens, and our theatre department performed outdoors under the moon on our campus. ese, of course are just some of the many outstanding highlights of the past year. Perhaps most appropriately, our graduation marked the culmination of the school year as we celebrated all that has passed, all that is now, and all that is yet to come. Graduation initiates our time of renewal, a critical component in the cycle of growth and triumph. All the effort expended during the school year is undeniably important, but often in our fast-paced culture we forget the importance of rest, where all the benefits of our hard work coalesce to restore our energy. Year after year, cycle after cycle, Palmer Trinity School proves that it nurtures and fosters extraordinary students with bright, promising futures. With their compassion, intellect, and creativity, our students will continue to make our world a better place. " e future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
