She begged her mother to let her transfer to PTS, where her brother and friends attended. ankfully, Lauren made the move to Palmer Trinity School, which proved to be the perfect fit for her. During her time here she played volleyball, soccer, basketball, and softball. She participated in summer camp and photography, and reveled in the wide range of subjects and diverse student body at Palmer Trinity School. Lauren looks back on her time at PTS fondly: "Everyone was friends with everyone, and teachers were invested in student success. e campus was great back then, but now it looks even more beautiful," she remarked. One class that stood out to Lauren during her attendance at Palmer Trinity School was her psychology class, taught by Paul Dean. Lauren had long set her mind on becoming a psychologist. Chasing that dream, she selected University of Miami to commence her studies, with an intention to acquire her PhD in psychology. But during her last year of college at UM, her path suddenly turned.
